From Order to App Store

1. Brand pack
You send a logo and brand colours (or we adapt your Moodle theme). We confirm your Apple Developer and Google Play accounts — both must be yours.
2. Build & configure
We build the app against your site, configure push notifications and test logins, courses, quizzes and downloads on real devices.
3. Submit & launch
We prepare listings, screenshots and privacy declarations and submit to both stores, handling review questions until approval.
What a Branded App Can and Cannot Do

It is your brand, Moodle's engine
Branded apps are built on the official Moodle app — the same features and limits, in your colours. Anyone promising a fully custom LMS app at this price is not telling the truth.
You need store accounts
Apple charges $99/year and Google $25 one-off for developer accounts, paid to them directly. The accounts and the app belong to you, never to us.
Push needs one server step
Deadline and grade notifications run through a push gateway (AirNotifier). We configure it as part of the build — no extra licence fees for standard volume.
Mobile App Questions
How much does a branded Moodle app cost?
Standard is $499 one-off, Enterprise $999 one-off, and optional maintenance is $49/month. Separately, Apple charges $99/year and Google a one-off $25 for your own developer accounts, paid directly to them.
How long until the app is live?
The build and configuration typically takes one to two weeks. Store review adds time we do not control — Apple commonly takes a few days, occasionally longer. We handle reviewer questions until approval.
Will the app work with our Moodle version?
The official Moodle app supports Moodle 3.5 and later for core features; some features need newer versions. We verify compatibility against your site before you pay anything.
Can learners download courses for offline use?
Yes — the app supports downloading course content including SCORM packages where the site configuration allows it, with sync when the learner reconnects.
What happens if we cancel maintenance?
Nothing bad. The app remains live and yours. You simply take over future rebuilds and store upkeep yourself, or re-subscribe later.
